Cas H. Morel
President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Morel has been President of Terra Capital Corp., a private holding and management company, since 1986. Terra Capital is principally involved in the energy, travel and real estate businesses. Mr. Morel was also President and Chief Executive Officer of Rhodes Resources Corporation, a publicly listed company on the TSX-Venture Exchange, until its amalgamation with Terra Energy Corp. Mr. Morel holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (1976), an LLB from Queen’s University (1978) and an MBA from the University of Calgary (1986).

Combined with his 23 years experience in the natural resource sector, Cas’ expertise in creative deal making provides an insightful base from which he effectively quarterbacks Terra Energy in the execution of its integrated growth strategy.

Bud K. Love
Vice-President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Love heads our financial management and reporting division. Bud is an accountant with 22 years experience. He was the Chief Financial Officer for Rhodes Resources Corporation, a publicly listed company on the TSX-Venture Exchange. Mr. Love was also the principal of BKL & Associates, a full service public accounting firm he founded in 1993 and Controller of Startech Energy Inc. during its startup as a junior oil and gas company. Prior to that, Bud was Manager, Taxation at Royal Trust Corp.  In 1981, Mr. Love received a degree in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.

Tony Sabelli

Executive Vice-President, Alberta and Saskatchewan Operations

Mr. Sabelli is a founder and an officer of Rising Sky Energy Ltd., and a current member of the Company’s Board of Directors.  Mr. Sabelli brings additional depth to the Management team with over 30 years of oil and gas drilling and production experience in Alberta with both private and public companies, including 11 years with a senior Canadian oil and gas producer where he was General Manager of Drilling and Completions for domestic and international operations. Mr. Sabelli holds a Petroleum Engineering diploma.

Tim A. Beatty
Executive Vice-President, B.C. Operations

Mr. Beatty joined the Company in 2002. Mr. Beatty is a professional engineer with almost 30 years of oil and gas drilling and production experience with large oil and gas producers located in North America and Australia. Mr. Beatty holds a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering.

John Behr
Vice-President, Exploration

Terra Energy’s Vice-President, Exploration, is a professional geophysicist with over 20 years of experience, working for companies such as Shell Canada, Rio Alto Exploration, El Paso and Dominion Exploration. He is an expert in structural and stratigraphic interpretation as well as originating many novel geophysical methods. He has discovered major finds in the Viking, Cadotte and Mississippian formations. John graduated with an H.BSc. in geophysics in 1984, and is a member of the CSEG, the SEG, the CSPG and APEGGA.

Graham Collins
Vice-President, Production

Graham leads the Company’s day-to-day production operations. His more than 33 years experience in the energy industry includes maximizing production growth, developing core focus areas, implementing operations efficiencies and initiating risk management strategies. Mr. Collins holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business (2002), a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba (1977), and is a graduate of the Queen’s University Executive Program (1990).

Gord Oliver
Vice-President, Exploitation  

Mr. Oliver brings to his position as Manager of Exploitation 22 years of progressively senior engineering experience in the conventional oil and natural gas industry with strengths in exploitation and reservoir engineering. Mr. Oliver was a significant contributor in building Stellarton Energy Corporation into an outstanding junior oil and gas company and in its subsequent sale to Tom Brown Inc. During his 22 year career, Gordon has held a variety of increasingly responsible positions with companies such as Efficient Energy Resources Inc., Simmax Energy, Stellarton Energy and Jordan Petroleum Ltd. Gord graduated from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology with a B.c. in Petroleum Engineering.

Yvonne Frame-Zawalykut
Controller

Ms. Frame-Zawalykut holds a Chartered Accountant designation and brings 14 years of accounting experience including positions at Coopers & Lybrand, TransCanada, Loblaw Companies, and most recently Husky Energy.

Terra Energy has a management team which embodies all disciplines and reflects its position as a full cycle exploration and production company. The team is experienced, highly skilled, and capable of handling the challenges going forward.
